The Story of New Harvest

New Harvest is a young and growing church which first met on Easter Sunday in 2002. The church met from 2002 to 2015 in the Mid-Buchanan School. In August 2015, Agency Baptist Church closed and gave New Harvest the building we are currently meeting in.

The members of New Harvest understand the church is not made of bricks and mortar, but instead made of people and called by God to form a community which works together to do His will. At New Harvest, we believe God calls each of us to be in a growing relationship with Him and exercise our gifts through the ministry of a vibrant, local church. There is no higher calling than to seek the Lord and glorify Him.

We would love for you and your family to join us as we serve Him. There are numerous ways for you to get involved, build community, and strengthen your faith through New Harvest’s ministries. Whether it is getting plugged in to a small-group Bible study, helping serve in our various ministries, or sharing your gifts and talents in other ways, there is a place for you to seek and serve Christ at New Harvest.

This site is intended to acquaint you with the church, but the best way to know us is to meet us. New Harvest is a friendly and caring church that is committed to teaching God’s Word and experiencing the truth of God’s love. We are a church with a purpose and vision. We are a church with an exciting future of hope. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We also host annual community events such as an Easter egg hunt and Falloween. Junior high, high school, and college students participate in E.P.I.C.
